Molix SW Jerk 140 tuna jerkbait

After the excellent results obtained by the “Pike” version in saltwater fishing, comes the “SW Jerk 140S Limited Edition“.
The idea was conceived during the latest tests of the “Pike” version; the tests were carried out in Cuba on last December, the target was to verify its structural strength. From the great results obtained on that situation, it was decided to produce a limited edition of three colours, designed for predators such as red tunas and tropical fishes. The Molix SW Jerk 140S is equipped with strong split rings and premium quality treble hooks. It’s a sinking lure with a hydrodynamic profile and an extremely compact shape, which allow the fishermen to reach long distances on casting. The weight is 85 grams and it is 140 mm long, it is made of a thick and tough ABS shell,where is placed a steel armor of 1.4 mm “full wire”, this means that the armor is along the entire length of the bait.
Internal balance and weights distribution have been studied for long to keep the horizontal position, with the characteristic and marked “wobbling” while the bait is sinking. During a linear retrieval the lure draws a large, sinuous “S”. The action of jerking, combined with a linear retrieval is highly effective: the lure makes a movement “side to side” with long directional changes and belly flops. When the bait is retrieved slowly, with continuous regular jerks, it stays long in the fishing area thanks to wide movements from left to right.

Il Molix Jerk 140  tuna jerkbait, è un artificiale per pesca a spinning al tonno, equipaggiato con rubusti split ring e ancorette di qualità. E’ un’esca sinking dal profilo idrodinamico e dalla forma estremamente compatta, che permette di raggiugere grandi distanze sul lancio.
Questo jerk da tonno è realizzato con una spessa e resistente scocca in ABS, che alloggia l’armatura in acciaio inox da 1,4 mm “full wire” ovvero passante e lungo l’intera lunghezza dell’esca.
Il bilanciamento interno e la distribuzione dei pesi è stata a lungo studiata per mantenere l’assetto orizzontale, con il caratteristico e accentuato “wobbling” in affondamento.
Nel recupero lineare l’esca compie un’ampia e sinuosa ”S”. L’azione di jerking, combinata a un recupero lineare, è altamente efficace: l’esca effettua un movimento “side to side” con lunghi cambi di direzione e spanciate. Quando viene recuperato lentamente, con continui strattoni regolari, l’esca di rimanere a lungo nella zona di pesca grazie al movimento ampio a destra e sinistra.
